  1. Excellent! It is hard to express some of the Hebrew word-play or grammatical oddities in English, but you did a great job of illustrating the uniqueness of the name Elohim. And the significance of glory in Genesis 1 is implicit, yet major. Great post!

  2. Good stuff. I remember doing a study in the Holy Spirit and it’s influence in the OT. For years I only knew of the Spirit to be NT but for some reason bypassed it in Genesis.

This post also reminds me of Romans 1:20 – “For since the creation of the world God’s invisible qualities—his eternal power and divine nature—have been clearly seen, being understood from what has been made, so that people are without excuse.”
    ‭‭Romans‬ ‭1:20‬ ‭NIV‬‬

All people will know God through His creation/Glory.

    1. Hi Ryan, I am glad you referenced Romans. Aside from my comments on the grammatical peculiarities of Elohim, I am basically saying the same thing that the Apostle Paul said long ago in Romans 1:20.
